Volkswagen Tiguan Lease Questions

Re: Money Factors [aramism]

What is the lease term? Sale price? NET Cap cost? Money Factor? Residual? I really don't see how that deal could be legit. This is the official deal from VW webstie. I don't see how you could lease a $36K Tiguan for only $440. NO WAY. HERE'S THE DEAL FROM VW $359/Month. 39-Month Lease 2009 Tiguan 2.0T S with Automatic Transmission $0 Due at Signing (excluding title, ... Read More...

Re: Money Factors [elgupaso]

Hi elgupaso. VW Credit's current buy rate lease money factor for a 39 month lease of any 2009 Tiguan is currently .00135. Lease support is available on 48 month leases of this truck, but the money factor for that term is a slightly less attractive .00184. VW Credit's 39 month, 12,000 mile per year residual value for an '09 Tiguan S is 53%. The residual value for an ... Read More...

Re: Money Factors [elgupaso]

Definitely get all the numbers, preferabley in writing. You don't want to lease over 36 months. 48 month leases are about as smart as buying the 5 year extended warranty on your toaster. Here's the current JOKE...errrrrr...current deal: FROM VW WEBSITE: $369 a month 39 months, TAX NOT INCLUDED. Based on MSRP of $24,990 for a 2009 Tiguan 2.0T S with Automatic Transmission, ... We get it already — fuel prices suck. And while we pity the poor sod who bought a new full-size SUV a few years ago and is now stuck with a fuel bill that has doubled and a vehicle whose residual value makes manure futures look appealing, everyone wants solutions. Sympathy won't heal a hemorrhaging wallet. 2009 Volkswagen Tiguan vs. 2008 Honda CR-V vs. 2008 Toyota ... Read More...

2009 Volkswagen Tiguan Compact SUV

Tiguan top rated by IIHS

It appears as far as IIHS testing goes, the 2009 Tiguan is the best C-SUV in surviving crashes (front, side and rear). Add in the recent CU review and this vehicle seems like a winner. Now if only the reliability for it proves good, and VW fixes up their NW dealer network (pretty ragged at moment) ;) Read More...

Volkswagen Tiguan Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Costco Deal

The only way I could get a deal since the vehicle is so new is buy using Costco. If you don't know, Costco members receive 300 over invoice. The 300 dollars goes to Costco, but you get 200.00 back in dealership coupon for accessories or service. I checked several other dealers and no one is going under MSRP. Here's my breakdown: Hi Jeff, Here is the price breakdown: ... Read More...

Tiguan recall

Autoblog.com Volkswagen is recalling 4,000 2008 Passats and 2009 Tiguans for an "engine surging" issue. The problem is an engine control module that may not control engine idle when the air conditioning is turned on. In rare cases, the ECM can trigger an unexpected jump in engine RPM, which could obviously lead to an accident. NHTSA has informed VW that since ... Read More...

Re: Official VW Pictures of 2009 Tiguan [vwtiguanfan]

No, the only two engines that will be offered are the 2.0T and the TDI. I am sure that VW is doing this to keep fuel efficiency as high as possible. The 2.0T is rated at 200hp as is more than enough for such a small SUV. Read More...
