With respect to daleyplanet's observation Toyota is ripping off Taco owners by offering more than "depressed" pricing, I have to disagree. I understand what he is saying - but I have no idea if the Kelly Blue Book on my Tacoma was more in Spring, 2007 than Spring, 2008. My new in February 2008 Tacoma does the exact same thing. I took to the dealership and same story, couldn't find anything wrong. Freon OK. It seems to me it blows too cold and then cycles off. Have you found a fix for yours yet? Read More...

i have a 2008 reg cab , 2wd , 4cyl , automatic with 3,025 miles on it and i'm getting on the freeway to work 24 miles to 25 miles per gal. Its 20 miles each way. I run it tell the fuel light comes on and the divide by the gals. Usually run between 60 -65 miles per hr , when the traffic permits. Read More...

This complaint is in regards to a defective frame on my 2001 Toyota Tacoma pick-up that was purchased used in February of 2007 with 102,000 miles. A NYS inspection was performed upon purchase. I live in northern IL. I had purchased my 1999 TRD Tacoma 08/30/1999 for $22,552.00 the sticker was $24,132.00. I had an ASC $1200.00 power moon roof & alpine single CD installed. I have no Idea of the taxes in your state but unless they are 8-10% that doesn't seem like a great deal. The prices on trucks on in the dumper. Look up a used 07 version of your tacoma on kbb.com with avg miles. Add about 20% to the trade in price for the price (+ taxes and tags extra) for a new 08 one. You know this whole thing sucks, I started my ordeal 6/25. Took truck to dealer, failed inspection. On 6/30 got offer letter. I signed it 7/2, once I signed it Toyota Customer Care turned into assholes.On 7/7, ISG requeusted check from Toyota. What are people paying for new 2008-2009 Tacoma's in relation to MSRP? If the trucks went up 5.1% this year. The Toyota Corp. gives a 1K check to get into a new one but that doesn't mean much if the dealers are sticking to the window sticker price.
