XT engine failure

Anyone else had their 2009 XT Forester had their engine completely fail. Dealer called me back to tell me that the car needs a new engine. This is on a car that has 9600 miles!!! Plus, all of the maintenance was done by Subaru at the proper intervals, etc. What an incredible piece of junk. Very disappointed. Hahahaha! No, it was not your ABS system, it was your tires. Subaru vehicles can deceive you because they will go like hell, even with awful tires, while most everything else is standing still spinning. But, you still have to stop, and the only thing that is there to get the job done are your brakes and your tires, and the buck stops with the tires. ;) Read More...

At least I got the full gas tank. But then again, they had over 10 days to fill up the car because they did not want to release it to me unless I came by during a very specific and small window of time. Read More...

Not sure about #1, but... For #2, I recommend keeping records on My.Subaru.com. You can input each service you do, then print them out and keep them in a 3-ring binder. Staple the receipts for the oil and filter to that print out.
