2003 Nissan 350Z Touring 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
You get the true sports car feeling when driving. I love the highway gas mileage! My second 350Z.
Favorite Features
Navigation, steering, ride, look, and sound.
Suggested Improvements
Paint! Get better paint! The manufacture paint chips to easy. Tires wear really fast due to not being able to properly rotate them. Plastic on seat trim could be improved. Driver seat wears too easly. Bose system over rated. Doesn't have adequate sound quality.

2003 Nissan 350Z Enthusiast 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
the car has had countless trips to the dealer for tranny, clutch, suspension, window motors, and audio....all of it has been replaced once or more times! There is countless tsb's on the vehicle as well, i suggest if you get a z get an 06 because i heard that they have improved most of the problems.
Favorite Features
I love the power and the multipurpose gauge cluster
Suggested Improvements
Stronger tranny (actually whole drive train) and better quality parts to make this car more reliable

Zagnificent 350
Vehicle
2003 Nissan 350Z Track 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
This is one tight car. From shifting to cornering the 350Z has a dynamic racing feel. Your wish is it's command. This is a true sports cars sports car. Highway cruising speeds do not do this car justice. It is extremely smooth and deceiving on the open road and equally capable on curved surfaces. The always illuminated gauges are there to inform you about tire pressure, mpg, temp, speed, rpm max, dte, and more. The practicality of the 350Z is not so much. After all this is a true sports car. It has moderate storage compartments behind the seats and the stabilizing bar in the rear hatch area really reduces your cargo space so pack lite. Bottom line:This is a drivers car that won't dissapoint!
Favorite Features
gauges, steering wheel, overall appearance, heated seats, leather, auto dim mirror w/garage opener, bose sound system, handling, response.
Suggested Improvements
The only request I would make has to do with the seats. They are comfortable relatively speaking. There is plenty of leg room and they are conforming to your body. However it would be more comfortable if there were more options on seat adjustments.

some issues with 2003 model
Vehicle
2003 Nissan 350Z Touring 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
I had this car for 3-1/2 years - just sold it today. Loved it for the first two years, but the following bothered me: 1. airbag light kept malfunctioning. 2. front tire problems, which the dealership was supposed to inform me of, but didn't. 3. tires kept losing pressure for no apparent reason (separate from #2). 4. fuel line/filter recall. 5. No Visibility to sides and back of vehicle.
Favorite Features
I loved the performance - tight maneuverability and breaking. This was my first car with a GPS system and I used it often. The Z has great lines.
Suggested Improvements
Re-design the side view mirrors with softer lines/no right "edges." Move the hazard light button - easy to accidently turn on. Take the "creases" out of the hood - they make the car appear too much like a mitsubishi. Raise the front bumper an inch or two - tend to scrape in dipped driveways.

2003 Nissan 350Z Performance 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
Fun car to drive! I love my Z. I had the last 300 before it was discontinued and this by far is a superior automobile. Great off the line you can only appreciate this car in the manual instead of the automatic. Takes curves at high speeds like a cat holding on to a tree.
Favorite Features
Exterior lines are fantastic!

Do not change the bodystyle for another 6 years

Slot Car Racer
Vehicle
2003 Nissan 350Z Track 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
The handling with this car is absolutely amazing. It drives like the car is connected to the road similar to the slot cars one had as a child. It rides a little hard but that is expected and desired from the Track model. If you want great performance you can't go wrong.
Favorite Features
The handling without a doubt followed up by its looks.
Suggested Improvements
The look of the vehicle is great and it's heritage shows and allows a dedicated following of owners. However, I'm hoping they make the next model look more like the early 70's kinda like the american cars are doing.

Excellent Vehicle

2003 Nissan 350Z Touring 2dr Hatchback (3.5L 6cyl 6M)
Review
I have had this car for three years. The only problem I have had with it was the tire misalignment that they had with the first year vehicles. Nissan replaced the tires and corrected the alignment after two years of driving for no charge. It is very fun to drive with ample power. Mountain roads are a blast, if traffic cooperates.
Favorite Features
Handling and power.
Suggested Improvements
Noise reduction.

Nothing but problems with the z. Front end problems that nissan didn't repair because they couldn't get the tires to fix the problem.( P.S. dealership sells tires) Air conditioning problems that they temporary fix by recharging the system not stopping the leak. ( they get $90 from me to recharge the system ..nothing if they fix it) Squeaks and flex noises that will drive you insane. And now a fuel hose recall that will need the whole rear end to come off for a fix! Would you take it up to 100 after nissans mechanics got done with it?
