LAS VEGAS — Scion may be throwing everything, literally including the kitchen sink, into its 2008 SEMA Show lineup. But CGS Motorsports has taken a decidedly minimalist approach to its customization of the 2009 Ford Flex.
Dubbed the ReFlex, the boxy crossover — which undergoes its SEMA makeover courtesy of Sean Smith of SS Designs — gets a one-off body kit, a custom paint job, a suede interior and a custom sound system by Kicker with a Clarion navigation head unit. Other details include one-off 22-inch Bonspeed wheels, Pirelli tires and door solenoids by SPAL.
So far, CGS Motorsports has only offered up an illustration of its SEMA-bound Flex.
Inside Line says: The takeaway here is the 22-inch wheels, which really ground the Flex for its SEMA appearance. — Anita Lienert, Correspondent
