SHANGHAI, China — Buick continues to build up buzz about its Invicta concept luxury vehicle, which promises to be one of the showstoppers at the 2008 Beijing Auto Show. A second teaser shot of the Invicta was revealed this week, but you'll still need a sizable imagination to figure out what the vehicle will look like in the flesh.

The second teaser shot shows the front end of the Invicta in a darkened foreground, with a lineup of GM vehicles behind it. The new shot of the Invicta, which accompanied a press invitation to the Beijing show, shows off slanted headlights and a front end that appears to hug the ground. Previously, Buick released a teaser shot of the Invicta in side profile.

General Motors said the Invicta, which is Latin for "invincible," was jointly developed at corporate design centers in China and North America. It is said to continue the thread of futuristic styling introduced last year on the Buick Riviera concept that was shown at the 2007 Shanghai Auto Show.

GM has also confirmed that on the eve of the Beijing show, on April 19, it will introduce its lineup of E-Flex concept vehicles, including the Chevrolet Volt and the Opel Flextreme. It will also show off the Chevrolet Camaro that played the role of Bumblebee in the movie Transformers.
