Honda S2000 Prices Paid and Buying Experience
Re: [sd2006]
2008 versus 2007 Nothing drastic but significant to some: Minor changes to seats ( I notice the headrest is a little higher) Minor changes to dash (fuel and temp guages are moved to right) Tire monitoring system Honda has "retuned the regular model's suspension for better high-speed stability" New 5-spoke wheels which I happen to like better Hope this helps, ... Lease deals July / August??
the honda website does not show any sort of s2000 lease "special". the local dealer said they thought the deal that had been running up to early July was no longer available. so it the S2000 no longer a good lease deal? i held off on doing anythign thinking it would onlyh get better...but now it looks like they pulled the 1000 incentive and low MF? oh well. i guess you ... Honda S2000 Prices Paid and Buying Experience
Re: 2007 S2000 - Price paid recently [lee271]
Congrats on the new car and welcome to the club! NFR is the best color anyway, they should have priced it for MORE than the blue ones :D . Sounds like a sweet deal to me. I paid $30k for my 05 in 05 and that included the dealer fees and I did the cheap lease. I think there was/is $2,500 in dealer money on the left over 07 cars and nearly $1k in hold back, so they can afford to get ... Read More...

Honda S2000 Gas Mileage Reports
Re: Honda S2000 MPG: Real World Numbers [accelerator]
Econocar? Not quite. I have a 2007 S2000- 17K miles (already) Here are some good points- Insurance. If you have a reasonable driving record, the insurance is decent, and probably less than a new Accord V6. (Not many of these on the road means that chopped parts are not in demand like they are with Accord or Civic) Two seats means potentially fewer medical payments ... Read More...
Princing Advice Needed - Help Please!
Folks, The day I have been dreading is upon me - I have to part with my S2000   . It has been the third car in the family, we are a two car household and I take the public transportation to work. Although the missus is hooked on top down motoring thanks to the S, I cannot stall her anymore in trying to justify(!) the existence of the two seater, not to mention the ... Read More...
Test Drive 2007 S2000 - NOW Drove the Boxster& S and base 911
habitat1, Thanks for the heads-up. I appreciate your feedbacks. Since you owned an S2000 and own a 911 cab, you have a lot of hands-on experience. Today I test drove a base 2007 Boxster, a 2007 Boxster S, and a 2005 base 911. What an experience! Boxster- well-balanced, nice engine sound, slick and precise 5-speed shifter, clutch has great feels. The car is quick ... Read More...
Re: trading up? [yinzer1]
Hi yinzer1. You really need to find out what selling price these leases are based upon because the monthly payments that you were quoted look a little high to me. The selling prices of leased vehicles are negotiable, just as if you you were paying cash for or financing them. Given the $2,000 dealer cash that is currently available on the 2007 S2000, I would not be ... Read More...
Re: 2007 S2000 Lease Payment [bvance]
Hi bvance. Let's work up a lease payment on this car for you and see what we come up with. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2007 Honda S2000 that has an MSRP of $34,885 and a selling price of $31,995 through Honda Finance right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment should be around $514 assuming that ...
