Just wanted to let everyone know that Southern California is full of 09 FEHs. I just purchased one for the invoice price!! Maybe the Sou Cal economy is working to our advantage. I had ordered an 09 FEH limited w/ NAV on August 1st (just in time for the price increase) in the Washington DC area. Twelve weeks later I still had no VIN number. Sounds strange to me. I ordered my FEHL May 10th and it is finally being built this week (hopefully). Probably not shipped until the end of September arriving in later October. So, - that is a five month wait which is long enough. I have no idea what Fords ordering sequence is about - there seems to be no rhyme or reason. Definately not taking orders as they come in. ... The phone number to call for tracking your vehicle is 1-800-392-3673. The number prompts are 1 - 5 - 2 - 2 You can't get anywhere without your VIN number. I got my 09 FEH two weeks ago from Longmont Ford (CO). I love it, I didn't think I would care about the nav system but it is SO cool! It has so many features, when I show people I always forget a few cool things I am averaging around 31 -32 mpg so far. Hope you get yours soon. Read More...

Just ordered my vehicle yesterday at Courtesy Ford in Littleton CO. Going for the Kiwi Green - loaded with everything. Was told it would take 10 weeks. Am driving a 1999 Ford Explorer Eddie Baurer, still getting 18.4 MPG but am looking forward to the smaller version and the better gas mileage. I too ordered WS as the exterior color on my 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid Limited, back on 4/21. Before I made that choice, I walked around the dealer lot and found a Ford Expedition with a window sticker that said "White Suede" to see what it looked like, albeit in a "super-sized" Escape. While in town on business, I went to the dealer, and test-drove a 2009 I-4 gas Merc Mariner (same as FEH except shocks and exterior bling, as far as I can tell). Sweet little truck!
