What We Know

The 2010 Fisker Quantum Hybrid made its world debut at the 2008 Detroit Auto Show. It promises features like a solar carport and a factory-installed solar roof panel option. The plug-in hybrid four-door premium sport sedan is the first fruit of a joint venture between Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide and Fisker Coachbuild. One of the most unusual aspects of this plug-in hybrid is the slate of recharging-system options that range from a 110-volt home outlet to a fast-charging 220/240 system. The Fisker Quantum Hybrid's looks veer sharply away from the Earth-Shoe aesthetic of some hybrids. The low-slung exterior includes a dramatically long hood.

What Edmunds.com says

Like so many electric cars before it, the 2010 Fisker Karma promises the world. It remains to be seen whether or not it can deliver.
