Yeah...see my posts followed by "learn how to use the high beams" replies. They are really low. I looked, it doesn't look like there is a way to adjust them any higher than just the auto control on the dash. I don't do a lot of night driving...however just last night...I couldn't see coming up an onramp and had to hit high beams...much to the delight of the people the low aiming is supposed to help. I was going to ask at my 3750 mile checkup.

I think invoice or below is what you should be shooting for. It looks like that is right around there. Perhaps you can negotiate a better rate to bring in more savings if you feel the price is right.

I finally got arond to adjusting my headlights...the article was perferct. It took many more turns than I thought it would. I used a small box/crescent wrench. Now I can drive around with the lights set to 3 and move them up and down. I was procrastinating doing the adjustment, but the other night out driving it was downright dangerous. When I would flip off the highbeams due to an oncoming car, at anythng greater than 30-35 mph, I could not see far enough down the road to be safe. Thanks again for posting the instructions in your previous post
Price Suggestion on 08 Forester X
by oak_parkstock on Mon Jun 09 10:22:36 PDT 2008
Hi, I'm thinking of buying a automatic 08 Forrestor 2.5x. My local dealer has one left, msrp sticker price is 22,996 including standard destination of 645.00 Its real basic without lots of upgrades which is fine with me. Subaru website lists 2,000 customer cash until 6/30, plus 0% financing for up to 24months I think. I'll be putting 12,000 cash down, no trade in. Any suggestions on a target price I should shoot for? I've read the last 30 pages of posts here and have seen from 18,600 to 19,250, but I'm not sure the 2k customer cash was available back then. Dealer has plenty of 09's on the lot. I'm in Chicago area. Thanks, Oak

Hi Al If anyone is interested I got a great deal on a 5 passenger 07. Below invoice with Nav/back up mirror. Let me know and I will give you the dealer name. Does anyone have the sunroof/moonroof deflector? Does it look ok? How about the bumper protective moldings. I love this car. BJG
