Locate a Kia Car Dealership in your State

Hyundai has had a head start, but its Korean brother Kia has established itself as more than a purveyor of merely cheap transportation. With attractive designs and ever-improving quality, the lineup at your local Kia dealership ranges from the bargain-priced Rio, up through the Civic-sized Spectra5 and Spectra, to the high-value mainstream Optima and luxury Amanti sedans. The Sorento and Sportage SUVs cover that segment while the stalwart Sedona is the minivan. Almost by definition Kia shoppers are looking for a great deal. Start by locating a certified Kia dealership at Edmunds.com and getting an instant online price quote.

I'm in Tampa, FL. I have sent email inquires to other Kia dealers in the area, and they have already started to call. It makes it harder that I have a trade, but I'm going to get a price first before going in with my trade.
2008 Optima EX V6
by timmboj on Tue Oct 28 07:59:49 PDT 2008
My parents are being offered 19,900 for a 2008 EX V6 with Sunroof, leather, ESC package. MSRP 23,900. 3500 off in rebates and another 500 just to hit my mom's goal of being under 20K. Are there any other incentives out there we don't know about? Any more wiggle room in KIA? They're not into haggling. But its a bit more car than they wanted. They just wanted a sunroof and the ESC. But colors etc. are hard to find these days.

If you like the V6 (I don't), you should be able to negotiate an extremely good deal on a 2 year old car. My problems with the V6: 1. Timing belt to replace. 2. Not much more power than the four. 3. Poorer gas mileage. Make 'em an offer of under $14K on it and see if they take it. Can't do any harm. I haven't checked the price of a used EX (say with 5K mileage) on Edmunds. See what that would bring and offer it or less. Having the Elantra in the mix complicates things as to what the car is costing. I know selling it yourself is a hassle but it might save you a thousand or more. At the very least I'd negotiate the Kia separately. Kias still depreciate much more than Hyundais, so I don't see much difference between the 07 and 08. If you buy this car do so with the idea that you're going to run it into the ground.

My wife just bought a Lx model with the roof rack, cross bars, floor mat options for $17,420. Sticker price of $24,820. They had the base model for a couple grand cheaper. This was at Quirk Kia in Braintree, Ma. I have been pleasantly surprised by the ride in this van.

Bought a 2008 Sedona EX with every option except tow pkg. Got $5000 rebate and another $800 employee pricing discount off of invoice. After TT&L my OTD price was $26,845. Best deal in New Orleans area was a Banner Kia in Mandeville, LA. I negotiated with Sienna and Honda and closest I came for a middle of the road options packacge was $30K after TT&L. I'm pleased so far and just hope the Sedona hold up over time. Good Luck to everyone.
