Re: Hyundai Santa fe price/mileage [pamcaulfie]: by bhmr59 on Thu Nov 27 20:23:16 PST 2008; You may stay with in the speed limits, but how quickly do you accelerate to cruising speed? i.e. how often to you tack the tach to 2500 RPM or more when only accelerating to 30 or 40 MPH? Ethanol or real gas is a government mandate in most parts of the country. Here in the north east we have had it for years. E-10 does reduce mpg by about 10%. Colder temps, usually around 50* also decrease mpg.

They bend over backwards to provide good customer service and I have been very pleased so far. You can expect to get phone calls from them to make sure you are happy with your purchase, which was a refreshing change from other dealers I dealt with in the past. The service shop at Johnson is so clean, you can almost eat off the floor. The lifts they use go down into the floor unlike the side post lifts that often result in door dings during service visits. Kind of got off topic, but congrats on the new car.

I love my Sonata. It is a fun car for me to drive and I love it both on the Interstate and around town. I hope you enjoy yours just as much.

gls 2009 with popular package: by Norfolkpan on Sat Nov 22 22:05:15 PST 2008; bought it at fairfax hyundai. msrp is $20,935, OTD is $16,313 (i chose 0% apr finance, so OTD for me is $17,313). not a flawless price, but it is a good one. if you want to get a similar one at similar price. ask for vincent there and tell him you heard this price from pan.

Genesis @ List price: by snags on Fri Nov 21 03:53:24 PST 2008; I went online to a local dealer here in Jersey and they came back with a 40k quote (last price). I dont understand this in view of the economy ,slow sales rtc. that they wouldnt even give 1k off . This dealer has had a red one on the lot for months and it hasnt moved and a black. one that hasnt moved. bryond that just trying to find the one you want is difficult if seeing it first is important. It seems that Hyundai has done a poor job of getting the hype ,advertising,and availability to coincide.
