There is, of course, a difference in the total cost. You said your financing is ~1.4% higher than Honda's. Therefore, expect to pay 1.4% more when all is said and done, if you go with your own financing.

In other words if I there would be a difference in the total price when the dealer knows that you are financing using the Honda financing or using your own financing? Thanks

Price difference between honda financing and own financing: by bsy on Mon Dec 01 04:51:48 PST 2008; My wife and I are looking to purchasing a 09 CRV EX, when negotiating would taking the Honda financing at the current APR (3.9%)offer affect the price versus if we have our own financing? My financing would be about 1.4% higher than the 3.9% that Honda is offering. Thanks for any assistance
