The lease payments that you have seen mentioned in this discussion are probably higher than BMW's official advertised payment for the X5 because either these leases have lower down payments or the vehicles mentioned here have more equipment, or both. Savvy consumers who are in an area that has a decent level of competition are almost always able to beat manufacturers' official advertised payments by comparison shopping an negotiating a lower selling price than the ad was based upon.
