Our 2007 Suburban has 35500 miles and has blown white smoke numerous times now. The dealer said they replaced the top of the engine, the heads per a Chevy bulletin. The problems still exists. I live in Md and would like to purchase a 2007 chevy suburban. I am interested in a new 2007 LT1 with dvd, sunroof, cloth seats and has 6,000 demo miles on it. The MSRP is $43990.00. When I took mine (2007 Suburban LT1, 5.3 flex-fuel) into the Chevrolet dealer with the complaint it won't stay in four cylinder mode I was told the engine and computer learn the driver's style and adjusts to the driver. That is a sweet deal. I am never going to be able to unload (via lease transfer) my 2007 suburban lease with discounts like that.. unless people are like me and don't trust buying a chevy... I don't trust the reliability, that is why I leased, for that price though, I may just have bought it b/c mine has pretty much the same original sticker price. Read More...
