Cadillac SRX engine whine

Re: CADILLAC SRX ENGINE WHINE [budget1]

Wow, do I know about the engine whine. I have been complaining about it for some time and they "think" that it is the dreaded timing chain issue that SRX's are plagued with. Getting the chain(s) on my 2006 SRX replaced now and will follow up with an update. Read More...

Cadillac SRX Tires and Wheels

Re: 20" WHEELS I can't win [srxman]

The 20 inch wheels are a new for 2007 option. The 2004, 2005 and 2006 models only offered 18 inch wheels. I don't know what kind of warranty the wheel dealer included, but these wheels probably could invalidate the Cadillac warranty if they cause any damage to your SRX. Read More...

Cadillac SRX Tires and Wheels

I own an 2005 SRX with 18 inch wheels...I too wanted the 255s all around........the 255s fit in front no problem... The dealer did not recommend as it would put unnecessary stress on the front end and may cause hydroplaning in extreme conditions.......and if 255s in front caused any damage or premature wear the warranty would not cover... For winter I put 235s ... Read More...

Cadillac SRX Prices Paid and Buying Experience

Re: Cadillac SRX: Prices Paid & Buying Experience [KarenS]

I bought my 2005 SRX AWD last year (2006) for $24,900. It's fully loaded, third row seating, GPS, performance package, magnetic ride, DVD entertainment, along with the totally rockin' sunroof!! I would have to say that we got a pretty good deal. It was turned in at a Toyota dealer for trade in. They didn't even know it had a dvd in it!! When I was test driving, they ... Read More...

Cadillac SRX reliability, maintenance and quality

Cadillac SRX reliability, maintenance, and quality???

I am torn between a 2006 Cadillac SRX and the 2006 Acura MDX. Both are in pristine shape with approximately 6000 miles. The MDX is nice and is the safer car to go with it seems. Better overall reviews from editors and Consumer Reports. However, I'm intrigued and very interested in the SRX - rides great, good performance, great ultra-view roof and nice looks. 1. Does ... Cadillac SRX Lease Questions

Re: SRX Lease Numbers [gs80]

I'd be happy to help you out, gs80. GMAC uses lease rates instead of money factors to calculate lease payments. You can convert its lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by dividing them by 2400. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 39 month lease of a 2006 Cadillac SRX V6 with 12,000 miles per year are 3.95% and 54%, respectively. ... Read More...

Re: Figures for the SRX lease [nortsr1]

Hey Nortsr1. Unfortunately, the 0% rate that GM is offering on the 2006 Cadillac SRX is only available on loans, not leases. GMAC's special lease rate for this vehicle is 3.95%. That's the bad news. The good news is that the $2,000 customer cash that is being offered on this truck is not available on leases, a special $3,250 lease cash incentive is. According to ... Read More...

Re: June SRX Lease Rates [sheepdog1]

Hey sheepdog1. If you were to lease a 2006 Cadillac SRX V6 through GMAC right now for 24 months with 12,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 3.95% and 63%, respectively. Car_man Host Smart Shopper / Prices Paid Forums Read More...

Re: May 2006: SRX lease rates [rbirns1]

Hey rbirns1. Yes, GM is providing lease support on the V8 model as well. If you were to lease a 2006 Cadillac SRX V8 through GMAC right now for 36 months with 12,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 3.95% and 56%, respectively. I don't recall seeing a 10,000 mile per year lease through GMAC. I don't know if it offers leases with such a low ... Read More...

Re: May 2006: SRX lease rates [mgro]

Hello Mike. If you were to lease a 2006 Cadillac SRX V6 through GMAC right now for 36 months with 15,000 miles per year, its base lease rate and residual value should be 3.95% and 52%, respectively. The lease rate for an otherwise identical lease with 12,000 miles per year would be the same, but the residual value would increase to 55%. GM is still providing $2,250 ... Read More...
