Re: 2003 Escalade will not start. Fuse Problem? [vajohn]
Hello, I am new to this forum. I am the owner of a 2006 Escalade. I am currently experiencing starting problems where you turn the ignition and engine does not fire or turn. However, I have read several postings on this forum and other respective forums related to starting issues. My wife was driving the SUV throughout the day and did not experience any problems ... Re: The Only Luxury Car... [lemko]
Her is some interesteing data from July 2007. According to the industry examiners at CNW Research, Cadillacs fortunes appear to be slipping away at the margins. In the firms July installment of their Retail Automotive Summary, their Aspirational Index (which judges a brands attractiveness to consumers) reveals that Cadillacs rising star is beginning ... Re: We have to get it together in the US [tntmyth]
But lately we have noticed that some of the GM cars are looking pretty impressive, namely the Cadillac CTS, Chevy Malibu, GMC Acadia, Saturn Vue, Saturn Outlook, Saturn Aura, Buick Enclave. Also some of the Fords look good, like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Mercury Milan. I agree completely Americans are starting to build better vehicles, The only ... Read More...

The U.S. President still rides in a Cadillac. But more than three out of four Americans who buy a luxury car these days opt for a European or Japanese model. Nowhere has the Detroit-based carmakers' loss of market share been more dramatic than in the luxury segment. General Motors, Ford Motor and Chrysler sold fewer than half of all light vehicles in the U.S. for ... Read More...

Re: GM Quality? What Quality?. [mediapusher]
Seats with support are not uncomfortable to us that dont have butts as wide as a double door entry to a house. I think you have it just backward. The hard cardboard seats they are pushing off as sporty are built for our average citizen that has a fat cushy posterior. A fat rear end has its own built-in padding. Cadillac built its reputation on plush cars with plush seats. ... Read More...
Re: History gives us a clue [rockylee]
The Caddy dealer near me gives 6 year 100k mile bumper to bumper $0 deductible with every Certified used Cadillac. That is the reason I tried talking my wife into the 2006 White Diamond Escalade. She just does not like the looks. Prefers the Denali Yukon or Envoy. She also likes the GL by MB. Read More...
Re: History gives us a clue [gagrice]
Rocky, My wife does not like the angular lines on the Cadillacs. I guess it appeals to a younger crowd. I drove the 2007 Escalade which was very nice. Except the seats are so much harder than the 2006 and older models. The one I drove was near $70k and the 2006 with 21k miles was $40k. Too big of a hit for me to accept. That is what I am seeing with all the big luxury SUVs. Including ... Read More...
Re: History gives us a clue [kratas101]
That is the factory standard warranty. I would assume the Certified 6 & 100k is some extended warranty. The salesman was very proud of the fact that it was B to B with no deductible. I am sure that was from original date of sale. Rocky, My wife does not like the angular lines on the Cadillacs. I guess it appeals to a younger crowd. I drove the 2007 Escalade which was very ...
