I doubt that any dealer knew about specifications or materials changes ahead of next year model announcement; it’s a possibility that the company might increase the engine horsepower, or the quality or the intensity of the sunroof screen without a change in 2009 ordering guide. So if I understand your post, you were checking the oil every week or every time you filled it with gas, and your car went from full of oil to being 2-3 quarts low in a hundred miles or so? :confuse: :sick: If your coolant is also disappearing, then my guess is that you have a leaky head gasket. My 2002 Seville used about 1 quart of synthetic oil every 2000 miles. The oil ... Read More...

Has anyone else been having the problems I have? Bought my 08 CTS early November 2007. Ordered it and waited 6 weeks for the lemon to arrive. It is Gold Mist, 3.6VVT, luxury level 1, performance package, polished wheels, and the wood trim packages with spare tire. Just purchased a fully loaded 2008 CTS - but the dealer says there are no body side moldings that are available for the 2008. (2007 was the last year for moldings) -- Cadillac-- why did you stop making the CTS with body side moldings??? I picked up my CTS on November 13 2007.It has AWD,DI,performance brakes,18" wheels,Crystal Red,spoiler,mesh grille,It now has 2000 miles on it,both highway and NYC driving.I cannot find anything wrong.everything works as it should.I did have to put after market trim on the sides(should have came with the car standard).the car is without a doubt the best ...
