I test drove the 2008 TL and sat in the 2009 TL. The Genesis by far is a larger car with more legroom front and rear. I did not like how clutered that TL steering wheel and dash were. The Genesis was my choice and I'm extremely happy about the decision. The Genesis was much quieter inside than the TL. While that TL handled well I was extremely disappointed with the ride. Hi, I have just purchased a 2008 TL base model for $27400. Out-the-door total $30,100 with 0.9% 36mos financing. The total interest for this car is only $420... almost free money. These items are dealer installed options - AKA additional dealer markup. I got the Acura mudflaps thrown-in on my deal. I would teld the dealer I was not interested and have them taken off. A roll of tape is cheap and would not take an hour to install. Read More...

IMHO, it's better to not restrict yourself to only 2 choices. Your in the driver seat these days when it comes to negotiating a vehicle. Personally, I would never put up that kind of money for a any vehicle with 48k miles. I contacted Rizza Acura, talked to the general Manager himself, they do have a 2008 Type S with Special Chrome Wheels and some type of All Season Tires. This car has FIVE THOUSAND MILES on it however.....and they are NOT willing to adjust price for the 5000 Miles that they have put on it. They're giving me Invoice Minus 3500 Rebate, but ADD $2500 for the Rims and Tires. ... Read More...

When I was shopping around in May, I emailed all the local dealers in the bay area. I also felt that Marin seemed unpleasant to deal with. They wanted me to visit them in person "right now," literally. I would have thought visiting an Acura dealer would be a better experience than that of a Honda dealer. Boy, was I wrong. These folks tried to pull one of those "bait and switch" on me.
