Civic Si or Acura RSX Type-S?

I thought the 2006 RSX had more power than the older versions (some sources say 210 hp and 143 lb-ft while others say 201 hp and 140 lb-ft, which is pretty confusing)? Anyway I'm probably going to go with the Civic because it looks a little sharper IMO and I like the interior better (the dash on the Honda is awesome and leather seats tend to make you slide all over the ... 1. I got a lease in May 2006 on a 2006 Acura RSX Type-S. I put $1300 down and my payments are $305 per month (including tax) for 36 months with 15k miles per year. Was this a good deal? 2. It appears that I have the exact same problem that you have. I purchased my 2006 Acura RSX (automatic transmission) in late June 2006 and shortly thereafter, I began hearing a squealing/whistling noise coming from the passenger side after exceeding 65 mph on the highway. I bought a 2006 RSX-S around Mid July. After putting about 95 miles on it, (there were 160 dealer "transport" miles), my car began to make a high pitch "humming" noise from the passenger side. You're very welcome, alberty. I'm glad to hear that you got a good deal on your TSX. Unfortunately, Acura's lease program for the RSX is not very attractive right now. Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a base 2006 RSX with 12,000 miles per year are .00283 and 57%, respectively.
