Whew! I didn't think it was going to happen but it did! Posted here about month ago about getting a deal on an 08 MDX with tech for 35.5k from several SF Bay Area dealers but couldn't get them to give me what I thought was fair trade in value for my 2006 Volvo S40 so no go. Hi dollar_pound. Doing some currency trading :) ? Honda Finance's current buy rate lease money factor for the 2009 Acura MDX is .00178. In addition to this special money factor, mid-month Acura introduced a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of this model. Hi neeepeee. The dealer invoice price for a 2009 Acura MDX with the Technology Package, but without Navigation or the Entertainment System is $41,503. If one subtracts the $1,500 cash incentive that Acura is providing on leases of this truck through Honda Finance from that it drops to right around $40,000. ejoyce423, I learned some more things today that may be of use. The CR figures cite $2k incentive - several dealers have told me that is only for purchase, and for leases the incentive is $1.5k. With all due respect to previous posts.... The three vehicles you list are not generally considered "competitors". The RDX is noisy, rough-riding, and does not have a true AWD system. It is best compared to a Subaru Forester or a Nissan Rogue. The Lexus RX 350 is still popular, but is underpowered, limited in cargo space, and has long-surpassed it run in terms ... Read More...

Today I visited, in person, two dealers, starting the negotiations the old-fashioned way. Both dealers are in southern New Jersey. True, acura is very good value to purchase as well. Looking at dealer inventories i think they might extend the lease deals to Jan/Feb. Anyone has any thoughts on that or heard of anything. I purchased a 2009 MDX with Tech yesterday at Acura of Ramsey NJ for 38,400. Plus tax and Reg fees. I may off been able to shop for a little better deal but was satisfied with 2600 below invoice. I was ready to buy an 08 demo with 10k miles for 35,000. just a month ago. Sales person told me Honda was given dealership 2000. back until 1/5/09. Read More...
